Oregon (and the Pacific Northwest in general) is a wonderland full of scenic locations that vary from the Painted Hills of the desert to the lush Tillamook Rainforest. Needless to say, it’s the perfect place for an adventure elopement that will result in epic photos and a great time with your closest people.

We took a trip to Bend, Oregon for this Sparks Lake wedding elopement shoot. Inspired by the Cascades Mountain Range, the summer sky, and the wildflowers of the valley, we created this modern color palette for a stunning couple deeply in love. Bold tones of purple, blue, orange, and yellow popped against the natural setting of the peaceful lake shore.

Inspiration struck when we saw the fallen tree on the beach, and we knew it would be the perfect location for an airy floral installation where the couple could say their vows.

Earrings made of fresh marigolds adorned the bride—bringing a bold pop of color to her otherwise neutral attire. Florals can be worn in a variety of ways outside of the traditional boutonnieres and corsages we often think of.

We’ve often made floral head pieces for our couples in the form of a comb or crown, but this one had a special touch of whimsy. We used wire to make the mini marigolds look as if they were floating above the wearer’s head.

One of the most exciting parts about eloping is getting to make your wedding day the exact experience you want—totally customized to you and your partner. Whether that is hiking in the mountains, strolling along the beach, or jumping in the lake, we want you to enjoy every minute of it.
